In 2007 this vision is a reality.  All building blocks of the open, global network for product identification are defined and companies have the potential now to make use of it and become “more efficient and profitable”.

The success of tracing objects using new data capture technologies and an open network depends highly on defining the business value of it and to bring together the right solution providers in an emerging and complex market.
